What is the oldest thing I am wearing today?
This would be a great topic for Samhain, a sabbat that many people know as Halloween. It is a time when the veil to the Otherworld has grown thin, and those beyond the veil are more easily accessible than other times of the year. Many Wiccans, Witches, Pagans and those who honor the Goddess and/or the God believe in reincarnation. I count myself to be among them. I believe that my soul inhabited my bodies before my birth. I use the word bodies because I feel I have had multiple incarnations. I would love to have conversations with my incarnations. When my body dies, I will go to a land of rest and healing until I am ready to be born again. Thus, the oldest thing which I’m wearing and has existed for centuries is my soul.
