What Is the Purpose of My Blog?

Journal with these words written in it: “Let my thoughts take flight!”

Writing Prompt: What change, big or small, would I like my blog to make in the world?

I would like for my blog to bring information and musings to people who want to learn more about what Wiccans, Witches, Pagans and those who honor the Goddess and or the God do and believe. Before moving on, let me talk about Paganism and its many forms. Paganism is an umbrella term that includes Wicca, Druidry, Heathenism, Hellenism, Kemetism and eclectic paths. Witches are not necessarily Pagans. Wicca was created by Gerald Gardner and is the most popular form of Paganism. Druidry has Celtic roots and is very animistic. Heathenism honors the German and Norse gods. Hellenism is the modern practice of working with the gods and goddesses of ancient Greece. Kemetism is the modern practice of working with the gods, goddesses and traditions of ancient Egypt. In eclectic Paganism one creates traditions of one’s own. Witches do magic and may or may not follow Paganism. I not only include information in my blog, but I include links and Suggested Investigation which include source material that my readers can look at for more information. I like the words Suggested Investigation, because I find value in sources of information that goes beyond books and articles. I include things like good YouTube videos and podcasts. I also like to do musings to help my readers get a chance to think for themselves about the topics that I write about. I work to keep the content fresh, interesting and intriguing.

Blessed Be!
